Michael Hale

Michael is a breath of fresh air and a whirlwind of efficiency. He joined the Drake Law Firm in 2026 from a background in nonprofit administration and education. Michael continues these passions as a member of the Helena Area Community Foundation board and a youth tutor and mentor. True to his former teacher roots, he is both no-nonsense and unfailingly kind and energetic. Michael has a great communication style, his professionalism goes beyond most, and he has charisma that makes everyone feel immediately liked. He oversees the business and financial management of the firm with a people-first eye, always looking for how we can best use our resources and abilities to support each other, our clients, and our broader community. When he is not crunching numbers, Michael enjoys sipping a fine bourbon.
